Within the framework of Tekirdağ Un philosophy; production is carried out in a totally enclosed environment and hygienic conditions according to the most advanced quality in world standards and food reliability principles, our employees and farmers are constantly being trained for this development.

As a result of our quality understanding, Tekirdağ Un was awarded the ISO 22000: 2005 Certificate which is the most up-to-date adaptation of the HACCP System Document in terms of quality and safety, in addition to the existing TSE and ISO 9001-2008 documents from 2007.

 

In 2008, Total Quality Management studies were initiated in order to create quality awareness in all Business Processes and the system is structured to ensure that the needs and expectations of Tekirdağ Un's stakeholders, employees, customers, suppliers, the environment and the society are met in the most efficient and accurate manner.

Based on the preventive approach, "Food Safety Management System" aims to provide safe consumption.

The Quality System of Tekirdağ was renewed in 2011 with INTERTEK Documentation and FSSC 22000 Certificate approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is added to the existing system.With FSSC 22000 certificate, Tekirdağ Un has become one of the top 5 firms in Turkey and 600 in the world and also become the first in the wheat flour production sector in Turkey.
 
In the context of conscious consumer demands moving towards natural products, Organic Product has been started to produce and sell with Organic Entrepreneur Certificate which is in compliance with TR, EU, NOP and Korean regulations approved by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2012 

 

Tekirdağ Un is again the only wheat flour producer in Turkey to make Microbiological Analyzes in Turkey with its new laboratory investment in 2012. Tekirdağ Un started to work in accordance to BRC Food 7 Ver. which is integrated with our quality concept and GFSI certified documentation has been completed in 2015.
 
Tekirdağ Un became the first wheat flour producer to implement the Integrated Management System in 2016 along with ISO14001 Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
 
Within the framework of the application of -from the field to fork- as the starting point of the quality principle, the Sustainability Project has been initiated and the farmers are given regular training every year in the project.
 
Tekirdağ is the only sustainable supplier to be monitored by Unilever Turkey Muddybuds System. With this project, we inform our suppliers about the use of controlled fertilizers and medicines and take a leading role in making the land more efficient and sustainable. Our aim is sharing experiences about the preservation and control of the stored product to protect both our producers and business partners and to improve the quality of raw materials through the maintenance and improvement of pre-harvest storage conditions.
